About Jarrett Brown

Jarrett Brown has been a paralegal for Attorneys Erik Eisenheim and Kim Zhang since January 2024. With a multifaceted background spanning over two decades, Jarrett brings a wealth of experience, advocacy and education to his role at the firm.

During his time in the food and manufacturing industries, he became a dedicated union steward and a non-attorney advocate for workers’ rights. His commitment to empowering Spanish-speaking workers, coupled with his self-taught Spanish language skills, enabled him to represent their interests effectively in negotiations with employers. His work has been highlighted in various media outlets, and he has delivered speeches on workers’ rights to audiences including students in Ukraine, MBA students at St. Norbert College and law students at the University of Arizona College of Law.

In addition to this work, Jarrett has a rich history as a freelance reporter, publicist and editorial writer, a career he pursued for 10 years. His passion for the law led him to become an online teaching assistant for law courses at the University of Arizona College of Law, where he further solidified his expertise.

Jarrett’s educational achievements from the University of Arizona include a Legal Investigations Certificate (2008), Victim Advocacy Certificate (2009), Alternative Dispute Resolution Certificate (2010), and Legal Secretary Certificate (2011). In 2017, he earned his Paralegal Certificate from the University of Texas at El Paso. He holds a Bachelor of General Studies in Political Science from Fort Hays State University (2022) and a Master of Legal Studies from the University of Arizona College of Law (2023).

Jarrett thrives as a paralegal because of his passion for serving clients by applying the education, training and experience he has gained throughout his diverse career. He provides every client with the attention and support they deserve, improving the firm’s ability to offer zealous representation.

Outside of the office, Jarrett enjoys dining out, supporting Wisconsin’s sports teams and traveling. He is also an advocate for microlending, having personally funded microbusinesses in Nicaragua, which he finds deeply rewarding for the positive impact it can have on individuals and communities.
