Erik’s approach to law is both strategic and empathetic, understanding that each case requires not only a thorough knowledge of the law but also a deep understanding of the personal and financial stresses his clients face.
Before co-founding Zhang & Eisenheim, Erik honed his skills working in a variety of legal settings, where he developed a reputation for his sharp legal acumen and tenacious representation. Over the years, he has successfully handled a wide array of cases, ranging from serious criminal defense to private bar matters. His dedication to his clients is evident in every aspect of his work, from the preparation of each case to his courtroom advocacy.
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Erik is rooted in the local community and is passionate about giving back to the area that shaped him. Erik also enjoys supporting local organizations that work to better the lives of individuals from underserved backgrounds.
Erik graduated with a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Wisconsin Law School, where he excelled academically and participated in various legal clinics. These experiences equipped him with the legal knowledge and practical skills he brings to his practice today. Erik is also a member of several legal associations, where he stays up to date on the latest developments in criminal and poverty law, continually refining his approach to better serve his clients.
When he’s not in the courtroom or meeting with clients, Erik enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring the natural beauty of Wisconsin and supporting his favorite local sports teams. An advocate for work-life balance, he values time spent with family and friends, often participating in community events and gatherings. Erik is also a firm believer in lifelong learning and is always seeking new ways to expand his legal knowledge.
